Mapleblume, Luxury In A Box

Mapleblume Luxury Beauty BoxI can’t believe we’re already in mid January, my gosh! I’m still playing catch-up from the holidays. Speaking of catching up, have you heard of the Mapleblume Luxury Beauty Box? As the caption says, it’s luxury in a box. In fact, that is also the company’s tag line. Mapleblume is a Canadian based luxury beauty subscription box for women. If you’re thinking of testing out cruelty-free, vegan, natural and/or organic products, Mapleblume is the way to go! The beauty box is delivered every other month. I am currently delving into the December box which contains an array of cruelty-free, natural, green, and organic full-sized premium beauty products, from skincare to makeup, made with the highest quality ingredients. While I’ve been a comitted vegan for years and make a concerted effort to only buy products that have vegan-friendly ingredients, I have not always exclusively purchased from cruelty-free brands. So,  I am thrilled to have Mapleblume introduce me to brands that not only use vegan ingredients but that are also conscientious. Most of the products in the box were new to me, which is always a lot of fun. The only product from this box I was familiar with was the Trust Fund nail polish, which is also great. Keep your eyes on my social media accounts to see my mini review of these products.  The total value of the products is $ 226 CAD, or about $ 171.49 USD.

Here’s what’s in my Mapleblume luxury December 2016 beauty box:

Mapleblume Luxury Beauty Subscription Box Review

Linné | Repair Face Oil – Linné Botanicals is a cruelty-free brand and this is a concoction of certified organic oils to fight dry skin. My skin gets very dry especially during this time of year, so I like to use oil in my beauty routine to moisturize. This has green tea and frankincense essential oils, which are known to restore and soften dry skin. So, I am looking forward to adding it to my foundation to restore my pre-winter glow. *Enjoy 20% off from the entire site by using code: MAPLEBLUME20.

Herbivore | Botanicals Pink Clay Exfoliating Mask – I’ve been thinking of getting this nourishing mask for a while but chose to hydrate with oils instead. It was a pleasant surprise to see it in the Mapleblume box.  As noted on the descriptions of this mask “this is a skin softening mask.” I’m excited to give this cruelty and toxin-free line a whirl!

Fitglow | Beauty Mineral Blush – Anothercruelty-free cosmetic brand that I am excited to take for a test drive. It’s made with natural mineral ingredients to enhance your natural beauty. I can’t wait to get my glow on with the fabulous Fitglow blush!

Pure Anada | Petal Perfect Lipstick – I’m never worn this unique color before, so I can’t wait to try it out! This brand is also cruelty-free, and incorporates certified organic oils into the lipstick to keep those pouty lips hydrated.

Organic Nation’s | Hydration Day Cream with Plant Cell Stem Cell Science – This is the only travel size product in the box. While this brand doesn’t make it clear on their site that they don’t test on animals, the ingredients are clearly vegan friendly. I sent them a couple of emails but no word yet. Once I hear back from them I’ll update my post. Plant Cell Stems have been called the secret sauce of giving younger-looking skin, which this has. I can’t wait to see the results in a couple of months.‎

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish | I Love My #Selfie – I’ve tried and shared this vegan brand with you before. I really like their nail polishes. The name of their polishes are quite fun too, “I Love My #Selfie!” As for the color, this darker shade of red is rich enough to have a trust fund, and gives me the irresistable urge to take a selfie!

White Meadows Farms | Maple Sugar Leaf – This is a must-have Canadian treat, 100% pure maple sugar molded into an iconic maple leaf.
